Pharmacist in Vail, AZ

A unique opportunity is available for an experienced Pharmacist to serve in a true decentralized Emergency Department role at a tribal clinic/hospital in Arizona. This position offers a challenging and rewarding environment where clinical skills are essential, and an Arizona Pharmacist license is not required due to the tribal facility designation.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care within the Emergency Department during night shifts
• Collaborate closely with clinical teams to optimize patient outcomes in urgent care scenarios
• Maintain accurate medication records and manage drug therapy utilizing the proprietary RPMS system
• Obtain and maintain BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (training support available)
• Work independently in a remote, decentralized setting with a focus on clinical excellence

Schedule:

• Night shifts, working 7 days on followed by 7 days off
• 10-hour shifts, providing a balanced work-life rhythm

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Pharmacist license (preferably from any state; AZ license not required)
• Clinical experience in hospital or emergency department settings
• Residency training or hospital experience highly preferred
• Willingness to adapt to a remote tribal clinic environment
• Positive attitude and strong commitment to patient care
