A full-time night pharmacist opportunity is available at a 200-bed hospital in Tucson, AZ. This role offers the chance to work a consistent night shift on a 7 days on, 7 days off schedule (Wednesday to Tuesday), supporting a busy medical center.

Key responsibilities include:

• Collaborating closely with physicians on drug selection and dosing decisions
• Educating nursing staff, patients, and physicians regarding medication use and safety
• Leading medication safety initiatives within the hospital setting
• Managing patient profiles to ensure optimal medication therapy
• Avoiding, identifying, and reporting adverse drug reactions
• Preparing IV admixtures and nutritional supplements accurately and safely
• Maintaining strict narcotic accountability

Desired qualifications and experience:

• Licensed pharmacist with hospital pharmacy experience
• Strong understanding of drug interactions, dosing, and administration
• Ability to communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams
• Experience with medication safety protocols and regulatory compliance
• Skilled in aseptic technique and IV admixture preparation

• Night shift (7 on, 7 off), Wednesday through Tuesday
