Pharmacist | Ventura, California

A hospital-based pharmacist opportunity is available for an experienced professional to support medication management and patient safety during night shifts. This role is based in Oxnard, CA, within the Ventura County area, serving a well-established 300-bed hospital.

Schedule:

• Night shifts, 7 days on followed by 7 days off
• Shift hours approximately 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the preparation and dispensation of medications according to prescriptions and clinical guidelines
• Conduct medication reviews and provide pharmaceutical care to optimize patient outcomes
• Collaborate closely with healthcare teams to support clinical decision-making and medication therapy management
• Utilize Cerner and Omnicell pharmacy systems for inventory, order entry, and documentation

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Licensed Pharmacist with current licensure to practice in California
• Proficiency with Cerner electronic health records and Omnicell pharmacy automation systems is preferred
• Experience working in a hospital setting, ideally with knowledge of acute care pharmacy practices
• Ability to effectively manage workflow during overnight shifts and communicate with multidisciplinary teams
