A healthcare facility in Ventura County is seeking a Pharmacist to support their team in a 300-bed hospital setting. This contract position offers the unique opportunity to gain experience at a Cerner/Omnicell site within a reputable health system.

Location:

  • Ventura County, CA (Oxnard area, LA metro region)

Schedule:

  • Night shifts: 7 days on, 7 days off
  • Hours: Approximately 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dispense medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring patient safety.
  • Utilize the Cerner and Omnicell systems for medication management.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize pharmacological care.
  • Review prescriptions for appropriateness and potential drug interactions.
  • Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and hospital protocols.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Licensed Pharmacist with current pharmacy credentials.
  • Experience working in a hospital setting preferred.
  • Proficiency with Cerner and Omnicell systems is highly advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently during night shifts.
