A healthcare facility in Ventura County is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to support inpatient pharmacy operations. This full-time opportunity offers a flexible schedule mainly consisting of four 10-hour shifts per week, with variable shifts including swing shifts, some weekends, and occasional holidays. The position is available for an immediate start and offers a contract duration of approximately 3 to 6 months, with the possibility to transition to a permanent role.

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately prepare and dispense medications for inpatient care
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize medication therapy
  • Participate in inventory management and quality assurance activities
  • Provide patient counseling and education as needed

Qualifications or Desired Experience:

  • Valid California Pharmacist license required
  • Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred
  • Familiarity with Cerner electronic health record system is a plus, though training will be provided
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work variable shifts, including weekends and holidays

Schedule:

  • Full-time hours
  • Primarily four 10-hour shifts per week
  • Variable shifts including swing shifts and some weekends/holidays
