This 13+ week contract offers the opportunity to work alongside a collaborative healthcare team in a fast-paced acute care setting, providing clinical pharmacy services and supporting safe, effective medication therapy for hospitalized patients.

Responsibilities

• Verify and review medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness.
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians.
• Consult with physicians and other healthcare providers on medication therapy.
• Perform pharmacokinetic dosing and therapeutic drug monitoring.
• Prepare and verify oncology and chemotherapy medications in accordance with hospital protocols.
• Monitor patients for drug interactions, adverse effects, and medication safety.
• Document pharmacy interventions and maintain accurate patient records.
• Utilize EPIC and Pyxis to support medication management and dispensing.

Work Hours

• Full-time contract
• ASAP start
• 13+ week assignment
• Variable day and afternoon shifts

Experience

• Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist license required.
• Inpatient hospital pharmacy experience required.
• EPIC experience is required.
• Experience with oncology and chemotherapy medications is required.
• Experience with pharmacokinetics and clinical dosing preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Education

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or equivalent degree from an accredited school of pharmacy.
• Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist license in good standing.

Compensation for this position ranges from $61.00 to $76.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
