Provide pharmaceutical care as a licensed pharmacist within a 40-bed community hospital and Level IV trauma center located in Vernal, UT. This contract opportunity offers a structured schedule and the ability to make a meaningful impact on patient care in a dynamic hospital environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently to ensure patient safety.
  • Supervise pharmacy technicians daily to maintain smooth pharmacy operations.
  • Apply pharmacokinetic principles in patient medication management.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals to optimize drug therapy.
  • Support inpatient pharmacy services by maintaining compliance with hospital protocols.
  • Participate in clinical consultations to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Current Utah pharmacist license required.
  • Approximately 1 year of recent inpatient pharmacy experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacokinetics and medication management.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills for interdisciplinary collaboration.
  • Ability to work a schedule of four 10-hour shifts per week (6:00 am to 4:30 pm).

Location:

  • Vernal, Utah – a community-focused setting within a Level IV trauma center.

Additional Details:

  • Schedule: 4 ten-hour shifts per week.
  • Start Date: Immediate availability preferred.
  • Contract Duration: 13 weeks or longer, with potential for transition to temp-to-hire.
