Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense medications in accordance with hospital protocols and physician prescriptions.
• Ensure safe and effective pharmacologic therapy by reviewing medication orders and monitoring patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize medication regimens for inpatients.
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and hospital policies.
• Assist in managing inventory and restocking to ensure uninterrupted pharmacy services.
• Provide education and counseling to healthcare professionals and patients regarding drug therapies.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current pharmacist license in the state of Kentucky.
• Proven experience in hospital inpatient pharmacy practice.
• Strong knowledge of hospital formulary management, medication safety, and clinical pharmacy services.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
