Pharmacist - Versailles, OH

An exciting opportunity is available for a pharmacy professional to serve as Interim Director of Pharmacy at an approximately 80-bed hospital located in Ohio. This contract position offers the chance to lead pharmacy operations and make a significant impact in a well-established healthcare setting.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all pharmacy services, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies
• Manage staff performance, recruitment, and professional development within the pharmacy department
• Collaborate with medical and administrative teams to optimize patient care through effective medication management
• Develop and implement pharmacy policies, procedures, and quality assurance programs
• Monitor inventory control, budgeting, and procurement of medications and supplies
• Ensure accurate prescription dispensing and maintain patient safety protocols at all times

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid pharmacist license with experience in hospital pharmacy practice
• Proven leadership experience as Director of Pharmacy or similar role
• Strong knowledge of medication therapy management, regulatory requirements, and accreditation standards
• Excellent organizational and communication skills with an ability to lead multidisciplinary teams
• Proficiency with pharmacy information systems and electronic medical records
• Ability to make informed decisions under pressure in a clinical environment
