A well-established retail pharmacy is seeking a qualified Pharmacist to support their team in Binghamton, NY. This contract-to-hire opportunity offers a fast-paced, dynamic environment where you will play a vital role in delivering excellent pharmaceutical care to the community. Immediate availability is essential to address short-term staffing needs.

Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate with the pharmacy manager to monitor and control inventory, track weekly sales, and place orders to ensure stock meets customer demand.
  • Prepare and dispense prescription medications accurately, weigh and mix compounds, and provide guidance on over-the-counter products.
  • Administer patient immunizations regularly, contributing to community health initiatives.
  • In the absence of the pharmacy manager, oversee scheduling, performance recognition, disciplinary actions, and work assignments to maintain operational efficiency and meet profit goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree.
  • Current New York Pharmacist license.
  • Current New York Immunization license is highly preferred.
  • Ability to start immediately.

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM
  • Saturday: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Sunday: 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM
