Pharmacist - Vestal, NY

A retail pharmacist position is available immediately with a reputable retail pharmacy located in Binghamton, NY, offering both temp and permanent opportunities. This role requires a proactive professional to support daily pharmacy operations and help manage inventory, patient care, and team activities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the pharmacy manager to control inventories by tracking weekly sales and ordering pharmaceutical stock to meet customer demand and optimize profits
• Accurately weigh, measure, and mix medications and compounds, dispensing prescriptions and over-the-counter drugs while advising patients on proper usage
• Perform patient immunizations regularly to promote community health
• In the absence of the Pharmacy Manager, supervise pharmacy associates, including scheduling, performance management, and work assignments to ensure efficient operations and achievement of company goals

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree
• Valid New York State Pharmacist License is required
• New York State Immunization License is preferred
• Ability to start immediately and adapt quickly to staffing needs

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Saturday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Sunday, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
