A major hospital with a 500-bed capacity is seeking two experienced pharmacists to support its progressive Pharmacy department in Visalia, CA. This contract role offers an opportunity to work in a high-volume inpatient setting where your expertise will directly impact patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently to ensure patient safety
• Supervise pharmacy technicians, providing guidance and oversight
• Participate in pharmacokinetic consultations and patient care interventions
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize medication therapy
• Utilize Cerner electronic health records to manage inpatient pharmacy activities

Qualifications:

• Valid California Pharmacist license required
• Experience in inpatient pharmacy practice preferred
• Familiarity with Cerner electronic medical records highly desirable
• Ability to work full-time with variable days and afternoon shifts
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Schedule:

• 13-week contract with ASAP start
• 10-hour shifts covering variable days and afternoons
