A 500-bed progressive hospital in Visalia, CA, is seeking two travel pharmacists to support their pharmacy department for a 13+ week contract. This opportunity offers an engaging environment within a well-established facility known for its commitment to advanced patient care.

Schedule:

• Variable days and afternoons
• 10-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth operations
• Participate in pharmacokinetic dosing and monitoring
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize inpatient medication therapy
• Utilize Cerner for electronic health records and medication management

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Active California Pharmacist license required
• Proven inpatient pharmacy experience
• Full-time availability throughout the contract duration
• Familiarity with Cerner electronic medical record system is a strong plus
