Pharmacist - Walker, MN

A specialty pharmacy is seeking an experienced pharmacist for a contract position based in Walker, MN, from June through September. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to both long-term care and retail pharmacy services in a dynamic healthcare setting.

Schedule:

• Saturdays and Sundays, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform long-term care and retail pharmacist duties, ensuring accurate dispensing of medications.
• Provide patient counseling and education on prescriptions and health management.
• Manage inventory and maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient care.
• Support immunization efforts as needed.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree or equivalent.
• Immunization certification required.
• Current CPR certification.
• Experience in Medication Therapy Management (MTM) is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently during weekend shifts.
