A healthcare facility in Ohio is seeking an experienced professional for the role of Interim Director of Pharmacy at an approximately 80-bed hospital. This contract position offers an opportunity to lead pharmacy operations, ensuring the delivery of safe and effective medication use for patients.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies.
• Lead and manage pharmacy staff, including pharmacists and technicians, to provide excellent pharmaceutical care.
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives within the pharmacy department.
• Collaborate with medical and nursing staff to optimize medication therapy and patient outcomes.
• Manage budgeting, purchasing, and inventory control processes related to pharmacy operations.
• Serve as a resource regarding medication management, dispensing, and safety protocols.

Desired Experience:

• Current pharmacist licensure in the state of Ohio.
• Proven experience as a Director of Pharmacy or in a similar leadership role within a hospital setting.
