Pharmacist in Warrens, WI

A travel pharmacist opportunity is available at a 25-bed critical access hospital serving a diverse patient population including emergency, labor and delivery, and medical-surgical units. This role is ideal for a pharmacist seeking hands-on experience in a fast-paced, dynamic healthcare environment with limited oncology exposure.

Responsibilities include:

• Dispensing and reviewing medications for 10-12 patients daily using Cerner EMR
• Managing medication inventory with Pyxis systems
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in emergency, labor and delivery, and med-surg settings
• Ensuring compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements
• Providing excellent patient counseling and drug information

Schedule and hours:

• Monday through Sunday, working 7 days on followed by 7 days off
• Monday to Friday: 5:30 am to 4:00 pm
• Saturday and Sunday: 5:30 am to 2:00 pm

Desired Experience:

• Licensed pharmacist with experience in hospital pharmacy practice
• Familiarity with Cerner electronic medical records and Pyxis automated dispensing systems preferred
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a critical access hospital setting
• Strong communication skills and a patient-focused approach
