Pharmacist - Warrensburg, Missouri

A community hospital with approximately 100 beds is seeking a dedicated pharmacist to join their team on a contract basis. This role focuses on inpatient pharmacy services within a supportive hospital environment utilizing Cerner software. The schedule requires availability for evening and second shifts, working about 4 to 5 days per week with some variability in days and afternoons.

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately to ensure patient safety
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff effectively
• Collaborate and consult with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals regarding medication management
• Perform essential inpatient pharmacy duties to support hospital operations

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Active Missouri pharmacist license
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• Competency with Cerner pharmacy systems is a plus
• Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
• Willingness to work variable afternoon/evening shifts
