Pharmacist - Wasco, CA

Support a critical Electronic Medical Record (EMR) conversion as a Pharmacist during an 8-week contract, assisting with patient care and medication management while the permanent staff focus on implementation and troubleshooting. This role is essential to ensure seamless pharmacy operations during the transition from Cerner to EPIC systems.

Location: Wasco, CA
Schedule:

• Evenings, 3:00 PM to 3:30 AM (12-hour shifts)
• Ability to work 48 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert pharmacy services during the EMR system changeover
• Support and maintain medication dispensing and safety standards
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care amid software transition
• Adapt quickly to evolving workflows within the new EPIC platform
• Assist staff and contribute valuable insights based on Cerner and EPIC experience

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Valid California Pharmacist license required
• Current BLS certification mandatory
• Recent Cerner and EPIC experience within the last five years as an employee or through successful contract completion
• Proven ability to work effectively during technology transitions in a pharmacy setting
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment
