Pharmacist - Washburn, WI

A Critical Access Hospital in Wisconsin is seeking a Pharmacist for a travel assignment starting ASAP. This position offers the opportunity to work in a hospital setting while exploring the scenic beauty of the region, including the Apostle Islands and the charming town of Bayfield.

Location: Washburn, WI (near Ashland, WI)

Shift: Days/Afternoon

Job Type: Contract

Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense medications and verify prescriptions in a hospital environment
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure safe and effective medication therapy
• Monitor patient medication regimens and provide expert guidance on drug interactions and side effects
• Maintain compliance with all regulatory and hospital policies
• Participate in medication therapy management and patient counseling

Qualifications:

• Licensed Pharmacist in the state of Wisconsin or eligible for licensure
• Experience working in hospital pharmacy preferred
• Strong knowledge of medication therapy and pharmaceutical practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
