A travel pharmacist opportunity is available at a 50-bed hospital in Northern Wisconsin, offering a rewarding 13-week+ assignment. This role is essential for ensuring optimal medication management and patient safety within the hospital setting.

Schedule:
- 12-hour day shifts
- 7 days on, 7 days off rotation
- Immediate start
Responsibilities:
- Review medication orders for appropriate drug therapy, including assessment of dose, dosage form, regimen, therapeutic duplication, and potential drug interactions
- Provide pharmacokinetic and anticoagulation dosing expertise
- Deliver pharmaceutical care through clinical services, such as medication reconciliation and discharge medication education
- Oversee pharmaceutical compounding processes with adherence to USP regulatory and compliance guidelines (USP 797 and USP 800)
- Utilize EPIC electronic health records (EHR) system for documentation and medication management
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Licensed Pharmacist with active credentials to practice
- Strong clinical knowledge in pharmacotherapy and medication management
- Experience with pharmacokinetic dosing and anticoagulation protocols
- Familiarity with USP 797 and USP 800 standards governing pharmaceutical compounding
- Proficiency in EPIC or similar EHR systems
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced hospital environment
