Per Diem Pharmacist - Washington, PA

A per diem Pharmacist opportunity is available in Washington, Pennsylvania, offering coverage in a retail pharmacy setting. The assignment begins on August 7th, with shifts scheduled on the first shift from 9:00am to 5:00pm. The role utilizes Pioneer software to support pharmacy operations.

Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately under the direct supervision of the manager, ensuring safe and efficient delivery to all customers.
• Counsel and advise patients on medication regimens, providing clear and helpful information.
• Address patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints following established organizational policies and procedures.
• Maintain stock and controlled drug records, including regular inventories.
• Resolve patient issues and clarify third-party insurance coverage questions.

Qualifications:

• Active and clear pharmacist license in the state of Pennsylvania.
• Minimum of 1 year retail pharmacy experience.
• Familiarity with Pioneer software is advantageous.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage inventory accurately.
