Pharmacist in Waterbury, CT

This opportunity seeks an experienced pharmacist to support a prominent children’s hospital pharmacy within a large, 1500-bed Level I Trauma Center. The role focuses on inpatient care with a variety of clinical and operational responsibilities tailored to candidate expertise.

Location:

• Waterbury, CT (inpatient pharmacy at a major hospital facility)

Schedule:

• 5 shifts per week, 8 hours each
• Day or evening shifts depending on department needs

Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical pharmacy services in children’s and women’s health areas or
• Manage operational aspects such as sterile processing and dispensing pharmacy leadership
• Utilize clinical and technological tools including EPIC and Pyxis for medication management
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective medication use

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of pharmacy experience, including inpatient settings
• PGY1 residency or equivalent 2-3 years of relevant experience without residency training
• Valid Connecticut pharmacist license required
• Exposure to pediatric and women’s health services preferred
