Per Diem Pharmacist | Weaverville, North Carolina

A well-established independent community pharmacy in the Asheville area is seeking a Pharmacist to provide reliable, patient-focused care on a per diem basis. This role offers the opportunity to work consistent shifts with one pharmacist and the potential to transition into a permanent position over time.

Location: Asheville, NC
Schedule:

• Guaranteed two shifts per week
• Fixed shift on Fridays from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM
• One additional weekday shift (Monday–Thursday) arranged by mutual agreement and kept consistent
  Shift Type: Day shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense medications and counsel patients on proper usage and safety
• Manage prescription processing and preparation according to regulatory and company standards
• Maintain thorough records and collaborate with healthcare providers as needed
• Provide exceptional customer service to support patient care in a community retail setting

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Pharmacist license in North Carolina
• Prior retail pharmacy experience demonstrating strong clinical and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and maintain consistency across scheduled shifts
• Commitment to high-quality patient-centered care
