A growing independent community pharmacy in Asheville, NC, is seeking a skilled Pharmacist to provide reliable, patient-focused care on a per diem basis. Location:
- Asheville, NC
Schedule:
- Guaranteed two shifts per week
- Fixed shift every Friday from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM
- One additional weekday shift (Monday through Thursday) mutually agreed upon and consistently maintained
- Day shifts
Responsibilities:
- Perform all retail pharmacist duties including dispensing prescriptions, counseling patients, and ensuring medication safety
- Collaborate with pharmacy staff to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow
- Provide exceptional customer service in an independent community pharmacy setting
- Uphold all regulatory and safety standards governing pharmacy practice
Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- Current and active North Carolina Pharmacist license
- Previous retail pharmacy experience preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
