Pharmacist | Webster City, Iowa

A specialty pharmacy is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to join their team in Webster City, IA, on a contract basis for 13+ weeks. This role involves supporting long-term care and retail pharmacy operations with a focus on delivering excellent patient care and ensuring the safe dispensing of medications.

Location:

• Webster City, IA

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm
• Some weekends required

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform essential long-term care and retail pharmacy functions, including dispensing prescriptions and medication counseling
• Ensure accurate medication preparation and verification in compliance with regulations and company policies
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and patients to optimize medication therapy
• Maintain patient records and documentation for regulatory compliance
• Participate in immunization administration when certified

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Licensed Pharmacist with an Iowa (IA) license or an IA temporary license
• Immunization certification preferred
• CPR certification preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
• Experience in both long-term care and retail pharmacy settings is ideal
