Pharmacist | Weed, California

This opportunity is for a licensed pharmacist to provide full-time coverage at a high-volume retail pharmacy in Northern California. The position is based in a retail setting where the pharmacist will manage daily operations, including processing 400–500 prescriptions per day. This role requires comfort working with fast-paced patient care and familiarity or willingness to quickly adapt to PioneerRx pharmacy software.

Location:

• Weed, CA (near by Yreka, CA)

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense and verify prescriptions in a busy retail setting
• Provide professional and courteous patient counseling
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy regulations
• Manage inventory and stock medications as required
• Utilize PioneerRx software for prescription processing and record-keeping
• Collaborate effectively with pharmacy technicians and staff to optimize workflow

Qualifications:

• Valid California pharmacist license
• Recent experience as a practicing pharmacist, preferably in a retail environment
• Ability to thrive in a high-volume pharmacy setting
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
• Adaptability to new software systems
