Pharmacist in Weed, CA

A retail pharmacy in need of an experienced Pharmacist to provide full-time coverage while the regular pharmacist is away. This role offers the opportunity to support a busy community setting and work with a recently implemented pharmacy software system.

Location:

• Weed, CA

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Accurately dispense medications and provide patient counseling in a fast-paced retail environment
• Efficiently process a high volume of prescriptions, averaging 400–500 daily
• Utilize PioneerRx pharmacy software to manage prescriptions and patient profiles
• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and safety protocols
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure excellent customer service

Qualifications:

• Valid CA Pharmacist License required
• Recent experience as a pharmacist, preferably in a high-volume retail setting
• Comfortable managing workload and multitasking in a demanding environment
• Familiarity with PioneerRx software is a plus, with willingness to learn if new to the system

Contract Details:

• Full-time position
