A specialty pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacist for a contract opportunity in Pocahontas, IA, with a duration of 13+ weeks. This role primarily involves Long Term Care Pharmacist duties, supporting the unique needs of patients requiring ongoing medication management.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• Some weekend shifts may be required

Responsibilities:

• Manage and dispense medications for long-term care patients
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure proper medication usage
• Provide patient counseling and education
• Maintain accurate records and comply with regulatory standards

Qualifications:

• Active Iowa pharmacist license or temporary Iowa license
• Immunization certification is preferred
• CPR certification is also preferred
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
