Pharmacist - West Chester, Ohio

An immediate opportunity is available for a Pharmacist to support a dynamic hospital setting in West Chester, OH. This contract role offers the chance to work in an academic hospital environment, delivering critical pharmacy services with a focus on patient safety and medication management.

Responsibilities include:

• Verifying and checking sterile compounded products and doses
• Managing and overseeing sterile compounding processes
• Order verification and Pyxis medication checks
• Addressing inquiries from patients and healthcare providers
• Supporting IV room operations and advanced therapies such as ECMO and CRRT
• Conducting consults and assisting with antibiotic dosing
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes

Ideal candidates will bring:

• A valid Ohio pharmacist license
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a hospital pharmacist, preferably within a large academic medical center
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health records
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with sterile compounding and advanced clinical services
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively during evening shifts (4x10s or 5x8s), with initial training on day shifts
