Pharmacist in West Milton, OH

A night shift pharmacist opportunity is available at a 200-bed community hospital, offering a rewarding role focused on patient care and medication management. This position requires a dedicated pharmacist to work a consistent 7-on, 7-off night schedule from 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM, supporting clinical pharmacy services with a potential to transition from contract to permanent status.

Location: West Milton, OH (with Indiana pharmacist license requirement)

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth operations
• Manage pharmacokinetic dosing and monitoring
• Consult with physicians and nursing staff to optimize patient medication therapy
• Utilize EPIC system for electronic health records and pharmacy documentation

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Licensed pharmacist in Indiana
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• Comfortable working the night shift schedule outlined
• Strong communication and clinical skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of the healthcare team

Schedule:

• 7 consecutive nights followed by 7 days off
