Travel Retail Pharmacist | West Winfield, New York

This full-time outpatient retail pharmacist position offers an opportunity to work within a respected and stable integrated health system in Central New York. Based primarily in Cooperstown, this role supports a high-volume outpatient retail pharmacy serving approximately 1,100 prescriptions weekly. The position requires occasional coverage at satellite locations in Oneonta and Delhi.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced retail outpatient setting
• Support the Meds to Beds program serving hospital patients
• Provide immunization services to the community
• Deliver exceptional customer service to ensure patient satisfaction
• Collaborate with pharmacy team members and healthcare providers to optimize patient care
• Utilize Pharmacy Management System (PioneerRx) and EMR (EPIC) for managing prescriptions and patient information
• Occasionally provide coverage for satellite locations as needed

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active New York State Pharmacist License in good standing
• Experience in retail or outpatient pharmacy settings required
• Proven ability to work in a high-volume dispensing environment preferred
• Familiarity with PioneerRx and EPIC systems preferred
• Immunization certification or willingness to obtain
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to superior customer service
• Flexibility to cover Oneonta and Delhi locations on occasion
