Travel Retail Pharmacist - West Winfield, NY

A full-time outpatient retail pharmacist position is available at a well-established health system in Cooperstown, New York, with occasional coverage needed at nearby Oneonta and Delhi locations. This travel role offers a Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, totaling 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities include:

• Dispensing approximately 1,100 prescriptions weekly in a high-volume outpatient retail pharmacy
• Providing exceptional customer service, a core priority
• Administering immunizations and supporting the Meds to Beds program
• Utilizing the PioneerRx pharmacy management system effectively
• Collaborating with healthcare teams using the EPIC EMR system for patient demographics and insurance verification
• Covering other locations occasionally for vacation and sick leave as needed

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active New York State pharmacist license in good standing
• Experience in retail or outpatient pharmacy settings
• Previous high-volume dispensing experience preferred
• Familiarity with PioneerRx and EPIC systems is advantageous
• Immunization certification or willingness to obtain certification
• Strong communication and customer service skills are essential
• Flexibility to provide occasional coverage at satellite locations
