Pharmacist | West Yarmouth, Massachusetts

An experienced Pharmacist is needed for a night shift position at a 200-bed community hospital located on Cape Cod, approximately 70 miles south of Boston. This contract role offers a unique opportunity to work in a hospital setting with a supportive team.

Location: West Yarmouth, MA
Schedule:

• Night shift
• 7 days on, 7 days off
• 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth operations
• Perform pharmacokinetic assessments
• Consult with physicians and nurses regarding medication therapies and patient care
• Utilize hospital IT systems including EPIC and Pyxis for daily functions

Qualifications:

• Active Massachusetts Pharmacist license
• Previous hospital pharmacy experience highly preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently during overnight hours
