A night shift Pharmacist position is available at a 200-bed community hospital located on Cape Cod, approximately 70 miles south of Boston. This contract role offers a unique opportunity to provide pharmaceutical care in a community-focused hospital setting, operating primarily during overnight hours.

Schedule:

• 7 days on, 7 days off
• Shift hours: 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth workflow
• Perform pharmacokinetic dosing and monitoring
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to optimize patient care
• Utilize EPIC electronic health records and Pyxis automated dispensing systems for medication management

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Massachusetts Pharmacist license
• Experience working in a hospital or acute care pharmacy environment
• Proficient in order verification and clinical pharmacy duties
