Join a reputable healthcare facility located just east of Downtown Los Angeles, serving a diverse community with a 400-bed hospital and a dedicated Outpatient Infusion/Cancer Center. This direct hire opportunity seeks a skilled Oncology Pharmacist to contribute to a multidisciplinary team focused on delivering exceptional care to cancer patients.

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, day shifts

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify pharmacy orders ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain smooth operations
  • Collaborate closely with oncologists, physicians, and nurses to optimize therapeutic outcomes for patients
  • Utilize Allscripts for medication management and clinical documentation

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid California pharmacist license
  • Completion of PGY2 residency or approximately 3+ years of experience in a cancer center pharmacy
  • Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist (BCOP) credential preferred
  • Strong clinical skills and ability to communicate effectively within a multidisciplinary team

Work Environment:

  • Outpatient infusion/cancer center setting, allowing for direct patient impact
