This direct hire opportunity seeks a skilled Oncology Pharmacist to contribute to a multidisciplinary team focused on delivering exceptional care to cancer patients.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, day shifts
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify pharmacy orders ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain smooth operations
- Collaborate closely with oncologists, physicians, and nurses to optimize therapeutic outcomes for patients
- Utilize Allscripts for medication management and clinical documentation
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid California pharmacist license
- Completion of PGY2 residency or approximately 3+ years of experience in a cancer center pharmacy
- Board Certified Oncology Pharmacist (BCOP) credential preferred
- Strong clinical skills and ability to communicate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
