An immediate opportunity is available for a Pharmacist to support a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) and Rehab hospital setting in downtown Los Angeles, near Dodger Stadium. This position emphasizes care for patients on ventilators, requiring specialized expertise in managing complex medication regimens.

Responsibilities include:

• Verifying medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervising pharmacy technicians to ensure compliance with protocols
• Consulting with physicians and healthcare teams to optimize patient therapy
• Applying pharmacokinetic principles to adjust and monitor drug dosages
• Monitoring and managing medication use in critically ill, ventilated patients

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active California Pharmacist license
• Experience in an inpatient hospital or LTAC setting
• Proficiency working with critically ill patients, preferably in ventilator care
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
• Local candidates preferred for quick onboarding

Schedule and Duration:

• 4 days per week, 10-hour day shifts
• Contract position with month-to-month duration
• Start date is flexible but ideally within the week of June 1
