• Location: Whittier, CA (with possible floating to sister hospitals within a 10-15 mile radius of Norwalk).
• Contract Duration: 8 to 13+ weeks.
• Schedule: Variable day and afternoon shifts to meet coverage needs.
• Technology: Utilize Allscripts/Paragon order entry system and Pyxis automated dispensing cabinets for efficient medication management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and promptly.
• Oversee pharmacy technicians’ work to ensure the highest standards.
• Collaborate closely with nurses and physicians to optimize pharmacotherapy.
• Perform pharmacokinetic assessments and provide clinical recommendations.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Active pharmacist license and credentials.
• Experience with Allscripts/Paragon order entry systems preferred.
• Proficient in managing and supervising pharmacy technicians.
