Per Diem Pharmacist | Wichita Falls, Texas

Pharmacist position available to provide PRN and vacation coverage in a sterile compounding pharmacy based in Wichita Falls, TX. This role offers the opportunity to work in a supportive pharmacy environment with a focus on sterile preparations, ensuring high-quality patient care and safety.

Location:

• Wichita Falls, TX

Schedule:

• Per Diem (PRN) coverage
• Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Coverage needed in 2026 for vacation and PRN shifts

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and dispense sterile compounded medications following established protocols and safety standards
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain pharmacy documentation
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff and healthcare providers to support medication management and patient care
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with quality assurance processes

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Licensed Pharmacist with active licensure in Texas
• Experience in sterile compounding pharmacy settings preferred
• Strong knowledge of sterile compounding techniques, USP <797>/<800> guidelines, and pharmacy best practices
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
• Ability to work independently during assigned shifts
