Pharmacists are invited to join a dynamic retail pharmacy team dedicated to serving the Wichita, KS community. This per diem opportunity allows for flexible work arrangements, perfect for professionals seeking to supplement their experience and income with meaningful shifts.

Work Schedule:

• Shifts available on a semi-regular basis
• Immediate coverage needed:
  • Monday 7/27 & Tuesday 7/28
  • Wednesday 8/12 & Thursday 8/13
• Shift hours 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescriptions accurately, ensuring patient safety and compliance with regulations
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy
• Use Rx30 software for prescription processing and recordkeeping
• Provide consultation to patients regarding medication usage, side effects, and interactions

Qualifications:

• Licensed Pharmacist in the state of Kansas or eligible for licensure
• Proficient with pharmacy software, preferably Rx30
• Ability to manage a moderately busy prescription load, approximately 100-125 prescriptions per day
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Experience working efficiently within a retail pharmacy setting
• Comfortable working independently with excellent organizational skills
