Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a collaborative relationship with the store operations team, ensuring clear communication of pharmacy and company strategies.
- Oversee prescription accuracy through thorough Drug Utilization Reviews and Final Quality Assurance checks, complying with federal and state pharmacy regulations.
- Manage department profitability and script growth by implementing clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM).
- Collaborate with pharmacy District Manager and staff to manage inventory effectively, track sales, and order pharmaceutical stock to meet customer needs.
- Align team performance with key departmental metrics focused on efficiency and effectiveness.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by assisting with medical questions and providing healthcare counseling.
- Supervise pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff, including training, coaching, and discipline.
- Maintain pharmacy security and uphold a safe, clean work environment.
- Resolve customer concerns and collaborate with healthcare providers to address prescription-related issues.
- Prioritize department tasks such as inventory cycle counts and will-call management to ensure operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree required.
- Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License mandatory.
- Valid Pennsylvania Immunization License essential.
