Location: Willimantic, CT
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM; 8:30 AM – 7:00 PM
- Saturday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Sunday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- Weekend rotation every 4th week
Responsibilities:
- Accurately dispense medications in both retail and long-term care (LTC) settings
- Utilize pharmacy software systems, including Liberty for retail and Frameworks for LTC
- Counsel patients on medication use and safety
- Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
- Participate in weekend rotations as scheduled
Qualifications:
- Active Connecticut pharmacy license
- Experience in retail pharmacy required
- Long-term care pharmacy experience is a plus
- Familiarity with pharmacy computer systems Liberty and Frameworks preferred
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
