A pharmacist opportunity is available offering 24 to 30 hours per week, primarily during daytime hours. This position provides temp-to-hire potential, making it ideal for candidates seeking a role with long-term growth.

Location: Willimantic, CT
Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM; 8:30 AM – 7:00 PM
  • Saturday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Sunday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
  • Weekend rotation every 4th week

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately dispense medications in both retail and long-term care (LTC) settings
  • Utilize pharmacy software systems, including Liberty for retail and Frameworks for LTC
  • Counsel patients on medication use and safety
  • Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
  • Participate in weekend rotations as scheduled

Qualifications:

  • Active Connecticut pharmacy license
  • Experience in retail pharmacy required
  • Long-term care pharmacy experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with pharmacy computer systems Liberty and Frameworks preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
