Pharmacist | Willimantic, Connecticut

Location: Willimantic, CT
Schedule/Hours:

• 24 to 30 hours per week
• Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM – 5 PM or 8:30 AM – 7 PM
• Saturday: 8 AM – 5 PM
• Sunday: 8 AM – 1 PM
• Weekend rotation approximately every 4th week

Responsibilities:

• Dispense and verify prescriptions accurately in both retail and long-term care environments
• Utilize pharmacy computer systems (Liberty for retail and Frameworks for LTC) to manage patient profiles and medication records
• Counsel patients on medication use, side effects, and storage
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal medication therapy
• Maintain compliance with state pharmacy laws and regulations
• Participate in inventory management and quality assurance activities

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Connecticut pharmacy license required
• Proven experience in retail pharmacy essential
• Experience in long-term care pharmacy is a strong plus
• Familiarity with Liberty and Frameworks pharmacy software beneficial
• Strong communication and organizational skills
