A travel pharmacist opportunity is available in Vermont, supporting a 100-bed community hospital within a respected health network. This role offers the chance to utilize your pharmacy expertise in a well-established medical setting while experiencing life in a picturesque New England state.

Location:

  • Williston, Vermont
  • Hospital is part of a regional university health network

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday
  • Shifts available: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM, 10:00 AM – 6:30 PM, or 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Duration:

  • Approximately 4 to 6 months
  • ASAFP start date

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform medication reconciliation ensuring patient safety and accuracy
  • Verify medication orders with precision and attention to detail
  • Manage vancomycin dosing and associated laboratory monitoring
  • Apply expertise in renal dosing adjustments
  • Utilize strong IV medication experience in daily practice

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of pharmacy experience
  • Demonstrated proficiency with intravenous medication administration
  • Vermont pharmacist license preferred, or ability to obtain a provisional temp license (with commitment to pursue permanent licensure during assignment)
