Pharmacist - Willits, California

An outpatient pharmacist position is available in a hospital-affiliated retail pharmacy setting located in Willits, CA. This contract role offers the opportunity to provide direct patient care by dispensing medications and counseling patients on prescription and over-the-counter products.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately fill and verify prescriptions.
• Supervise and provide guidance to pharmacy technicians.
• Counsel patients regarding proper medication usage, side effects, and interactions.
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations and safety standards.
• Utilize Cerner electronic health records for documentation and prescription management.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Valid California Pharmacist license required.
• Previous retail or outpatient pharmacy experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with healthcare teams.

Schedule:

• Primarily day shifts.

• This contract assignment is expected to last at least 16 weeks.
