Pharmacist - Winnemucca, NV

A health system is seeking a skilled Pharmacist with inpatient pharmacy or strong sterile compounding experience for a critical role supporting hospital operations. This position offers flexible scheduling options to fit diverse availability and a variety of employment arrangements including travel-to-hire or direct hire, with a preference for candidates interested in long-term placement.

Location: Winnemucca, NV
Position Type: Contract to Hire — Travel-to-Hire or Direct Hire
Work Environment: Hospital/Inpatient Pharmacy

Schedule Options:

• Rotating 3 to 4 twelve-hour shifts weekly
• Four 10-hour shifts weekly
• Pharmacy hours: Monday–Friday (6:00 AM to 6:00 PM) and weekends (7:00 AM to 5:30 PM)
• Flexible scheduling aligned with departmental needs and personal availability

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately prepare, review, and dispense inpatient medications
• Perform sterile compounding in compliance with safety standards
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapy
• Ensure regulatory compliance and maintain accurate documentation
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the pharmacy department

Qualifications:

• Current pharmacist license in good standing
• Experience in inpatient pharmacy or strong expertise in sterile compounding
• Ability to work flexible schedules
• Commitment to long-term placement or openness to relocation preferred
