Pharmacist | Winston-Salem, North Carolina

A pharmacy position is available for a skilled pharmacist with compounding experience, offering a contract-to-perm opportunity in Winston-Salem, NC. This role involves preparing both sterile and non-sterile compounded prescriptions, collaborating with medical teams, and providing expert pharmaceutical care to optimize patient outcomes.

Schedule & Hours:

• 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
• 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Every third Saturday, 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• 30-minute lunch break

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and dispense compounded prescriptions adhering to USP 795, 797, and 800 standards
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to meet individual patient needs effectively
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage pharmacy inventory
• Provide pharmaceutical advice and care to patients to support optimal health outcomes
• Assist with training and supervising pharmacy technicians
• Utilize PK pharmacy software (training provided) to ensure smooth prescription processing

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Licensed pharmacist in North Carolina
• 1 to 2 years of pharmacy experience; new graduates with a passion for compounding are encouraged to apply
• Familiarity with USP compounding standards (795, 797, and 800)
• Experience or comfort with retail pharmacy operations and prescription processing
