A compelling opportunity for a dedicated pharmacist experienced or passionate about compounding awaits in the Winston-Salem, NC area. This contract-to-hire position offers the chance to work in a dynamic setting focused on preparing both sterile and non-sterile compounded prescriptions, delivering personalized pharmaceutical care that makes a tangible difference.

Schedule and Hours:

• 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
• Typical hours: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Every third Saturday: 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Includes a 30-minute lunch break

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and healthcare teams to meet individual patient needs effectively.
• Prepare and dispense compounded prescriptions, adhering strictly to safety and quality standards.
• Maintain precise patient records and manage medication inventory accurately.
• Provide expert advice to patients, ensuring optimal health outcomes.
• Assist in the training and supervision of pharmacy technicians.

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Licensed pharmacist in North Carolina.
• 1 to 2 years of pharmacy experience preferred; new graduates with a keen interest in compounding are encouraged to apply.
• Strong knowledge of USP 795, 797, and 800 compounding standards.
• Familiarity with retail pharmacy operations and prescription processing.
• Experience or willingness to learn pharmacy software similar to QS1 (training provided).
