An experienced Infusion Pharmacist is needed to provide critical support to a pharmacy operation in Greensboro, NC. This contract role offers the possibility of working 3-5 days per week with potential for long-term placement or permanent hire. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in home infusion, sterile compounding, and delivering clinical support in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

Responsibilities:

• Review and verify medication orders specifically for infusion therapies
• Oversee preparation and dispensing of sterile compounded medications
• Ensure strict adherence to USP <797> and <800> standards for sterile compounding
• Provide clinical support and drug information to healthcare staff and patients
• Collaborate closely with the pharmacy team to optimize workflow and enhance patient safety
• Maintain accurate documentation, ensuring regulatory compliance at all times

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active pharmacist license in North Carolina, in good standing
• Recent experience in infusion or home infusion pharmacy practice
• Strong expertise in sterile compounding techniques
• Thorough knowledge of USP <797> and <800> guidelines
• Ability to work independently while adapting quickly to a dynamic environment

Schedule/Hours:
