Immunizing ER Pharmacist - Wisconsin Rapids, WI

A healthcare facility in Wisconsin Rapids, WI is seeking a skilled inpatient pharmacist to support their emergency room and hospital inpatient pharmacy services. This role involves working as a Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) and administering immunizations as part of patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced hospital inpatient setting.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams in emergency room and inpatient units to optimize medication therapy.
• Manage pharmacy operations as a Pharmacist in Charge, ensuring compliance with all regulations and standards.
• Provide immunizations according to protocols.
• Participate in rotating weekend shifts and provide occasional evening assistance as needed.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Pharmacist with experience in hospital inpatient pharmacy and emergency room settings.
• Proven ability to act as Pharmacist in Charge (PIC).
• Skilled immunizer.
• Strong knowledge of medication dispensing and patient counseling.
• Ability to work a 4x10-hour day shift schedule with rotating weekends.

• Wisconsin Rapids, WI

Schedule:

• 4x10-hour shifts, days 7:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
• Rotating weekends
• Occasional evenings may be required
