This position offers an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist with hospital experience to provide critical support in a well-established healthcare setting. You will be responsible for ensuring the accurate dispensing of medications and supporting safe patient care within a 250-bed facility. The role demands a strong familiarity with hospital pharmacy operations, leveraging your expertise to enhance pharmacy services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately dispense medications in compliance with hospital protocols
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal medication management
  • Utilize Cerner and Omnicell systems to maintain precise medication records
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to pharmacy operations
  • Adhere to all regulatory and safety standards within the hospital pharmacy environment

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Licensed pharmacist in Wisconsin or willingness to obtain an Act 10 temporary license
  • Previous hospital pharmacy experience preferred
  • Proficiency with Cerner and Omnicell pharmacy information systems
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Location:

  • Hospital located in Marshfield, Wisconsin

Schedule:

  • 7 days on, 7 days off rotation
  • Alternates between 2nd shift (12:00 PM – 10:00 PM) and 3rd shift (9:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
  • Typical workweek starts on Wednesday

This contract opportunity is expected to last for 13 weeks or longer, starting as soon as possible. Candidates must be flexible to accommodate the rotating shift schedule.
