A hospital-based pharmacist opportunity is available for a skilled professional to support a 250-bed facility in Marshfield, WI. This contract assignment offers a dynamic schedule with a 7 days on, 7 days off rotation, alternating between second and third shifts.

Schedule

• 7 days on, 7 days off
• Rotating shifts: 2nd shift (12:00 PM – 10:00 PM) and 3rd shift (9:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Workweek typically begins on Wednesday

Responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense medications accurately in a hospital environment
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal medication management
• Utilize Cerner and Omnicell systems for medication orders and inventory management
• Provide clinical support and counseling to healthcare providers and patients as needed
• Adhere to all regulatory and safety requirements

Qualifications

• Valid Wisconsin Pharmacist license or willingness to obtain the Act 10 temporary license
• Experience working in a hospital pharmacy setting
• Proficient in the use of Cerner and Omnicell systems preferred
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills

This 13-week+ contract opportunity requires availability to start as soon as possible. Candidates must be adaptable to shift rotations and committed to maintaining high standards of pharmacy practice in a fast-paced hospital setting.
