Pharmacist - Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin

This opportunity is for a licensed pharmacist to support a small 40-bed hospital in northern central Wisconsin. The role involves managing a busy inpatient pharmacy within a community healthcare setting, providing critical medication services across multiple departments.

The schedule offers flexibility with options for either four 10-hour day shifts per week (7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) including rotating weekends, or a block schedule option of seven days on followed by seven days off. The assignment begins ASAP and will extend for a minimum of 13 weeks.

Key responsibilities include:

• Verifying and processing medication orders through EPIC, ensuring accuracy and safety
• Reviewing and approving work completed by pharmacy technicians
• Responding to pharmacist phone inquiries in a timely manner
• Dispensing inpatient unit dose medications and outpatient chemotherapy with careful attention to protocols
• Preparing and providing intravenous medications for both inpatient and outpatient care
• Supporting clinical areas such as Med/Surg, OB/GYN, ICU, emergency department, outpatient oncology, and surgical services
• Managing an inpatient census averaging 30 to 40 patients

• Active pharmacy license with credentials valid for Wisconsin practice
