Pharmacist in Wood River, NE

This pharmacy role offers an excellent opportunity for licensed Nebraska Pharmacists seeking a flexible work environment with predominantly 2nd shift hours. The position is based in Wood River, Nebraska, about 2.5 hours west of Lincoln, and is open to newer graduates, local candidates, and those transitioning from retail pharmacy settings.

Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
• Provide professional consultation to patients regarding medication usage and safety.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal pharmaceutical care.
• Manage inventory and maintain compliance with pharmacy policies and regulations.
• Support patient education and address any medication-related questions or concerns.

Schedule and Hours:

• Primary shift: 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
• Minimum of 36 hours per week required.
• Some schedule flexibility available; examples include 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM on weekends combined with 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM shifts on weekdays.
