This opportunity is for an experienced Pharmacist to provide critical inpatient support during the night shift at a dynamic healthcare facility in Woodstock, GA. Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately to ensure patient safety.
• Supervise pharmacy technician activities and workflow during the shift.
• Utilize pharmacokinetic principles to optimize medication therapy.
• Consult directly with nurses and physicians to support effective patient care.
• Manage pharmacy operations independently as the sole pharmacist on duty, supported by a pharmacy technician.
• Utilize EPIC and Pyxis technology systems for medication management and documentation.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current Georgia pharmacist license.
• Minimum of 1 year inpatient hospital pharmacy experience.
• Strong foundation in hospital pharmacy operations, capable of autonomous decision-making.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records system preferred.
• Ability to handle high-responsibility roles during night hours confidently.

Schedule:

• 7 days on, 7 days off.
• Night shift: 9:00 pm to 7:00 am.
