A Per Diem Pharmacist position is available in Wooster, OH, to provide vacation coverage at a busy retail pharmacy. This role requires working Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, covering vacations during specific periods in August, September, and November. The pharmacy itself operates from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM without closing for lunch, ensuring continuous service to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform data entry for over 200 prescriptions daily using PioneerRx software
• Verify and check over 200 prescriptions per day for accuracy
• Answer phone inquiries professionally and promptly
• Verify and sign for controlled and narcotic drug deliveries
• Assist in product verification alongside pharmacy technicians
• Collaborate with three full-time pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth pharmacy operations

Desired Qualifications:

• Active, clear Ohio pharmacist license
• Minimum of 1 year recent retail pharmacy experience
• Proficiency with pharmacy computer systems, preferably PioneerRx
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in verifying prescriptions
• Excellent communication skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
