An urgent need exists for licensed Pharmacists to support a long-term care and intellectual developmental disorder pharmacy currently experiencing high workload due to a recent system rollout. This contract role requires flexibility and a strong commitment to help stabilize workflow over a 4 to 6 week period.
Responsibilities:
- Review and clear data entry tasks (PV1 roles)
- Check and verify prescription fills, labels, and blister packs (PV2 roles)
- Collaborate efficiently to increase production and maintain accuracy
- Work flexible shifts including opening and closing hours during weekdays, and availability on Saturdays if possible
Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts pharmacist license is mandatory
- Prior experience in long-term care pharmacy preferred; retail pharmacists with strong volume-handling capabilities are also encouraged to apply
- Ability to quickly adapt to new systems, particularly Frameworks, which was recently implemented
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance
Location & Schedule:
- Worcester, MA
- Monday through Friday: 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
- Saturday: 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Flexible to cover varied shifts and weekend hours
