A rewarding opportunity is available for a Pharmacist to support inpatient care in a large, well-established hospital setting. This position, located in the Worcester, MA area, offers a chance for new graduates to gain valuable experience and for seasoned professionals to further develop their clinical skills. The role is primarily night shifts, providing critical pharmacy services to a 300+ bed facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dispense and oversee medication distribution for inpatient units with accuracy and safety.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient medication therapies.
  • Monitor patient responses and intervene as necessary to adjust medication plans.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and quality standards.
  • Participate in pharmacy department initiatives to improve patient care outcomes.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Active Massachusetts Pharmacist license is required.
  • Strong knowledge of inpatient pharmacy operations and hospital protocols.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work independently during night shifts.
  • Previous hospital pharmacy experience is valuable but new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Schedule:

  • Primarily night shift: 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.

This is a 13-week contract-to-hire opportunity starting as soon as possible, allowing you to demonstrate your capabilities with a potential pathway to permanent employment.
