Pharmacist - York, Pennsylvania

A well-established 500-bed hospital in York, PA is seeking a skilled pharmacist to join their inpatient care team on a contract basis. This role offers a dynamic environment where you will play an essential part in delivering high-quality pharmaceutical services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders with meticulous attention to detail
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient workflow
• Collaborate with physicians to provide clinical consultations and optimize patient therapy
• Apply pharmacokinetic principles to tailor medication regimens based on patient-specific variables
• Utilize hospital IT systems including EPIC and Pyxis for medication management and documentation

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Active Pennsylvania pharmacist license
• Approximately 2 years of inpatient pharmacy experience, demonstrating strong clinical acumen
• Experience working within a hospital setting preferred
• Proficiency with EPIC and Pyxis systems is highly advantageous
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to engage with healthcare professionals and patients effectively

Schedule:

• Variable days and afternoon shifts, offering flexibility within the 13+ week assignment
• Immediate start availability preferred
