Pharmacist - York, PA

A Retail Pharmacist position is available at a licensed veterinary pharmacy facility that supports prescription fulfillment and product distribution for production and companion animals. This role operates within a supply chain network serving veterinary clinics and producers. Unlike a traditional retail pharmacy, the environment is industrial and warehouse-based with standard weekday shifts from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with no weekend work required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, prepare, and dispense medications while ensuring compliance with professional standards and state/federal legal requirements
• Perform medication reconciliation to support seamless patient care when possible
• Provide excellent customer service and clinical care focused on veterinary clients
• Consult with clinics regarding prescribed medications, including dosage, frequency, and potential drug interactions

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Pennsylvania Pharmacist license required
• Willingness and ability to obtain 10-12 additional state licenses within 6 months (business covers all related fees; pharmacist manages paperwork and exams with guidance)
• Strong attention to detail and knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations
• Excellent communication skills for professional consultation in a veterinary pharmacy environment
